I must have been doing something wrong it work fine now. I think I might have been pushing watch first then download.

I tried playing a WatchNow movie and it never played. I have my LCD monitor as primary monitor and TV as secondary. Not using -fse. When I play a WatchNow movie, my primary screen turned black and had some green text that said Standby Ready or something like that. Will try it again and give exact text. I pressed the Back button on my remote and it went back to the GBPVR menus.

Set your TV as primary and the LCD as secondary..... then it will play on the TV.
You can test the viewer by using IE (on the TV), browsing to Netflix and playing a movie within the browser window. Then try the plugin version.
I did the same thing at first (had the LCD as primary) and the IE browser would just display a black screen but with audio.

Also, if you boot up your computer without a monitor connected (meaning just the S-Video) Netflix will throw an error (DRM) when you launch a movie.
If someone knows of a dongle to fake a VGA- 15pin connection, please share. I can remove the monitor after it boots up, but everytime it power cycles, I have to hook it up again.

Thanks!

Oh oh, this is bad news. My final destination for pvrx2 box is an s-video only tv. I should test this out too before deploying it. Thx for the heads up.

Yes, me too. I don't have DVI or D-Sub connections on the server. A DRM issue I'm sure.

Does anyone else have the problem with the screensaver coming on during a watch now movie? I think it happens to me both with the plugin and directly from the web.
