Hi
I have 2 tuners andall is working but I have put in to much channels - and I want to delete them - but I cannot find a way to delete them in the capture source.

Also I am wondering if there is an easy way to copy channels between tuners?
Using DELL P4 1.5GB RAM 250 GB HD + DLINK DNS313 netdisk 1,5TB, 2 pieces of Hauppauge PVR150 w/45-button remote, 1 Popcorn Hour 110. Win XP SP3. GB-PVR v1.4.7 Plugins: Xrecord

You can only disable channels (which will cause them to not show up in GB-PVR), or to delete and re add the capture source.

As sub says, yes but there is a way around this that might work depending on your situation.

1. Make a note of the time and date.
2. Get a pen and paper and make note of all Pending recordings and all Reoccurring recordings.
3. Delete all pending and reoccurring recordings.
4. Disable all channels in both EPGs for both of your existing sources. DON'T delete the sources.
5. Create two new capture sources with the EPG entries you want and Enable the channels.
6. Re-create all Reocuuring recordings and any other recordings that had been listed under Pending.

How this works - in point 4. disabling all channels will mean that no future recordings will be allocated to these sources and in 5. creating new sources will mean that all new recordings will be allocated to them (this is why you need to delete/recreate pending reoccurring recordings to change allocation from old sources to the new ones). The fact that you haven't deleted the old sources will mean that the recordings made on those will remain in the database.

Eventually, once you have watched and deleted all recordings made prior to the date/time noted in point 1., you will be able to safely delete the old capture sources.

That's the theory anyway and I'd certainly give it a try.

Cheers,
Brian

ok I might try that approach.

Altough I have started to look att the GBPVR.mdb i MS Access - and I see a possibility to:
1. in config - remove EPG data
2. shut down GBPVR totally
3. take a backup copy of GBPVR.mdb
4. open the GBPVR.mdb in MS access
5. delete some rows in different tables such as "source_channel_mapping" and the delete rows from table "channel"
(Above is ok if I have not any recording or pending recording for the channels to be deleted - in that case the channel should not be deleted)
6. restart GBPVR

In a few days I will try this to see if it works
