Awesome Animation on front screen - issue?

Same here. I usually get about 3 days worth of smoothness then the animations start to get jerky.
Nothing seems to fix it except a reboot.
I've tried restarting pvrx2, restarting recording service... so far nothing but a reboot fixes the issue

edit: also no standby/hibernation here either
I also don't listen to music on the box. I only watch recorded shows.

ditto, always been that way for me too, at least since the pvrx2 introduction, but probably before that. its not a big deal to me, i dont mind the reboot

same issue here with 3 pc's (two clients + server). Playing video then stopping seems to work ok on all of them. i think ill just turn animation off...

Same, i've just been rebooting when the menu animation gets slow.
At first I thought it was down to my poor video card but i guess if it's been happening to others then it's not just me.
I hope this issue will be resolved, but it's not like its' a show stopper
