i wonder if its searching for vertical when it should be horrizontal
im not sure how you change it in gbpvr though sub which dvb file is he using ?
2008-03-15, 05:32 AM
try changing all the lnb setting to 11250 for all 3 and do a search

i tried that with no luck...
im wondering if it is a driver setting, windows setting, type of windows running... something other than gbpvr that needs to be adjusted... considering all the issues im having with the software and all the different things ive tried, i dont think it is the software, i just hope that guy eric that is running the same setup responds to his emails or if there is any other way to contact him

My guess is that its something simple. It'll either be the LNB settings, or the presence of diseqc switch, or something similar.

i have removed the diseqc and tried a whole bunch of LNB settings...
but i do agree that it is something simple

which dvb-s file(what number) does the nimiq1 satellite use ?
you could double check its correct by matching it with lyngsat website have you done all your windows updates?
i notice on your screen shot of your other software that the satellite selection says vertical but when i look up the nimiq1 (dvb-s file 2691) they are all horizontal (represented by H)
would that be the problem or try scanning a different sat galaxy 11 (im not sure which one is above you but according to the lynsat site one of them is ) nimiq 2 if its getting signal etc then its got to be something like polirization or just looking for wrong stations with your setup
tried that....
no go any idea about that wintv-nova-s-plus card? well... i know im pointing the dish in the right location, cuz it works fine with mytheatre i know im scanning the proper TPs cuz im scanning the same tps as Mytheatre (which works) i know the LNB settings are correct because its the same as mytheatre (which works) but heres the catch... mytheatre works with a different driver also, just a side note... this is a direct quote from the twinhan driver download website "Model: 7041/7042/7021 does not support BDA driver" http://www.twinhan.com/download_driver&software.asp im running the 7021 starbox... and also "Good news !!! It works !!! " from this thread, same box http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...ht=twinhan although it might be the 7020 that he is using... but either way, there is no 7021 driver, the 7021 uses the 7020 driver or the newer 7022 driver |
