"No signal detected" 1.2.9

Tuning to a DVB-T channel with nova-t-500 via the TV Guide the first time pvrx2 starts brings up the "No signal" popup but with the bars at an acceptable value. Escaping out to the main menu and back in again (without exiting pvrx2) does not bring up the popup.

Same thing happens on my computer on PVRX2 1.2.9 also using nova-t-500. On first use pop up appears saying there is no signal, but the channel is working correctly in the background.
Is there a fix for this? thanks.

Try increasing the <NoSignalPopupDelay> setting in config.xml.

Many thanks for that. Default seems to be 5, so doubled it to 10 and that stopped it.

I'll work back down to find the shortest working one on this system

It basically comes down to how quickly your device can start delivering data. Some are quicker than others.

I'll bump the default up a little for the next release.

Went from the default of 5 up to 10 and...... back down all the way to 6 and that seems fairly reliable for my setup. So the initial setting of yours was damn close for the nova-t-500.
