Thanks to you guys, I am starting to get somewhere. I now have audio, but no picture in Live TV. After adding the above to my direct.ini file, I also had to change the tuner from Conexant Blackbird to MSI TvAnywhere Master 8606.

On a side note, when I close GB-PVR, the TV audio stays on and doesn't shut off.

EDIT: Had to reboot to turn off the sound and to save log files which are attached.

Try editing the the following line in the entry to
Code:
PIN_CAPTURE_ANALOG_AUDIO_IN=Line In
Then restart PVRx2

Still no go on video, but the sound still works fine. New logs attached.

Perhaps I should tell you guys about my set up. I have a Dish Network box. I use an S-Video cable to run from it to my TV Card. I also use a splitter to connect my RCA cables for audio.

With GB-PVR, I have the XML file set up to where it gets the EPG correctly and I also added an S-Video channel. I simply did this as indicated earlier by "sub". All I really need is just one channel and that channel needs to be for S-Video.

When I click Live TV, I get the audio for the channel the Dish Network box is currently on but no video whatsoever.

From the TV Card, I have a stereo audio computer cable running from the Line Out on the TV Card to the Line In on my computer's sound card which is Realtek High Definition sound card.

Here is what I have added so far to direct.ini...

I suspect you might be out of luck, and this card isnt compatible with GB-PVR. The filter configuration appears to be different that expected by GB-PVR.

I dont think its going to help, but you could try the follow though.

[MSI TvAnywhere Master 8606]
INIT_MODE=IVAC
INIT_MSP=0
SUPPORTS_FM_RADIO=0
FILTER_CROSSBAR=MSI 8606 Crossbar
FILTER_CAPTURE=Conexant 2388x Video Capture
FILTER_TV_TUNER=MSI 8606 Tuner
FILTER_TV_AUDIO=MSI 8606 TV Audio
PIN_CROSSBAR_VIDEO_TUNER_IN=Video Tuner In
PIN_TVTUNER_ANALOG_VIDEO_OUT=Analog Video
PIN_TVTUNER_ANALOG_AUDIO_OUT=Analog Audio
PIN_TVAUDIO_TV_AUDIO_IN=TVAudio In
PIN_TVAUDIO_TV_AUDIO_OUT=TVAudio Out
PIN_CROSSBAR_AUDIO_TUNER_IN=Audio Tuner In
PIN_CROSSBAR_VIDEO_DECODER_OUT=Video Decoder Out
PIN_CAPTURE_ANALOG_VIDEO_IN=Analog Video In
PIN_CROSSBAR_AUDIO_DECODER_OUT=Audio Decoder Out
PIN_CAPTURE_ANALOG_AUDIO_IN=Analog Audio In
PIN_CAPTURE_CAPTURE_OUT=Capture
PIN_CAPTURE_PREVIEW_AUDIO_OUT=Preview
PIN_WRITER_INPUT_IN=Input

We are getting somewhere. It seems like it wants to display a channel but the screen stays black. New logs attached.

Perhaps all I need now is detailed directions on how to add an S-Video channel. I searched old threads and couldn't really find detailed directions on how to do it.

Sorry, looking at the logs I'm pretty sure its not going to work for you. There is lots of errors that cant be fixed because your device doesnt have same filter configuration as those supported.

I wonder if I can download and install the Conexant Blackbird drivers and if it would work. Just got to find a source for those driver for Windows XP.
