Found some odd behavior in the latest ML2. If I queue tracks from more than one artist I can't hit the green button to get to the playlist screen. On the MVP it crashes the MVP server connection, and on my laptop (not my MVP server) it just continues playing, but the selection highlighting goes away and it stays in the main screen... Any thoughts? This does not happen when no tracks are queued, or when I add tracks all from the same artist.

How are you cueing the tracks? I just tried on mine, on a server and idn't have any problems. I was using the yellow button.

First I selected an artist, then individually queued 3 tracks, then chose another artist and yellow buttoned the artist name.
No problems.

If it's a particular problem on the mvp, try the same action on the pc, and send the logs in..

It took me a couple of days to find the time for trouble shooting, but here are the logs from my laptop. From looking at the logs myself, it looks like either a skin problem or a problem with my UltraID3 (it looks like I had version 0.9.5.x installed, but I just retried it with version 0.9.2.12 and get the same behavior) .

Looks like you're getting an error from UltraID3 getting the composer.

As a test you could remove the UltraID3 reader and use the entagged one ( I see you have that in the Plugins\MusicLibrary3 directory.

One thing to look at is ML2 is an "Old style" plugin, meaning not explicitly written for PVRX2 so some people have found that they have needed to create a Gbpvr\Skin2\skinName\MusicLibrary2 directory - even though it's not used, they have found this has sorted out a number of problems.

I'll get it a shot, should I have the .dll's in the skin2 folder, or leave it empty, also, should I remove the mulisclibrary3 folder while I'm at it?

edit:
Never mind I didn't think that question through, the .dll's are never in the skin folders...

Correct. No in the skin2 directory it's just the directory name that is important.

Yes you might as well remove ML3 - although it was a basic version it still worked, but I don't think it was finished enough for day to day use.

Removing all instances of UltraID3 9.2.12 makes the playlist screen work again. On my server, I had another copy of UltraID3 (9.2.12) in my weather plugin folder that I had to remove in order to fix this behavior for the MVP. I replaced it with the 9.5.10 version in the weather folder so my ScreenSaverPlugin will still work... It looks like this is all working!

Thanks for your help and for a great plugin.
Now I can queue up all the tracks I want in a playlist then go to the playlist screen to randomize playback of the queued tracks and having nice big Album art and track info in my Now Playing screen saver
