ZProcess2 not creating files and crashing MVP

Were you able to get MPlayer v1.0rc2 to work? This is my first time using ZProcess2 and was not successful (MVP goes back to the mvpmc screen). I reverted to v.1.0rc1 and now I get the "Sorry" video at least. I was able to play Dvix/Xvid files before installing ZProcess2 but the CPU utilization was very high (never below 98%). I was hoping ZProcess / Mencoder would be alittle better.

BTW, The Wiki said that ZProcess2 would ask to integrate with GBPVR. I didn't see a dialog pop up but I did go into the GBPVR and ZProcess settings to pick options to match the screenshots that were on the Wiki.

Well, ZProcess2, on first run, knows that it had not been previkously used in GB-PVR. So it asks to integrate. If it didn't ask, then I doubt it's working right. Try looking in the config.xml for

If that's not there, then ZProcess is not firing up properly.

Also, sometimes MEncoder can do better than FFmpeg, sometimes vice versa. But if ffmpeg is running at 98% then it's a good bet you will have a high percentage with MEncoder too, and that usually shows a underpowred machine, or a machine loaded with lots of competing processes.

THe sorry video does indicate ZProcess is being used, so this contradicts not seeing the first integration screen...

The Sorry Video usually means that you should increase the preplay delay substantially. default is 5500. I would change it to 10000 at least, and see if you get something.

Also, I have had no problems at all with MEncoder/Player RC2. I don't know why the other person did, but they seemed to solve the problem with RC1.

My apologies to all. It turns out I have been using and testing with MEncoder RC1, and I don't think I have tried RC2.

Perhaps it has features that ZProcess isn't ready for. Maybe those are features that will be nice to have, so I will look at start using it.

ZProcess2.exe v 2.0.229 released

New Version will work with either MEncoder/MPlayer rc1 or rc2

I'll be checking to see how well rc2 works with dvr-ms files and I will also be playing with newer alternate versions, but I have added the feature where you can try didfferent versions of MEncoder with out a lot of hassle...
