MusicLibrary2 - Version 7 Support thread.

I came across this error message in the MusicLibrary2.log

Code:

26-3-2008 8:53:42    UIUtilities    GetConfigString    VERBOSE    Setting returned is 20080324 from: /settings/PluginSettings/MusicLibrary/LastScan
26-3-2008 8:53:42    UpdateMedia    LoadLastScanFromConfig    INFO    MusicLibrary2: Invalid LastScan Date found: 20080324 : Index and length must refer to a location within the string.
Parameter name: length

The ISO date format looks fine to me, but apparantly not to the software. I haven't checked yet if it affects the autoscan function (I assume it is used for that)

I'm not sure if it has an effect. The format is ok, but its actually expecting yyyyMMddhhmm.

I'm keeping an eye on mine as well to see when it does actually scan, mine is set to 3 days.

Yes it will. I'll have time to test this out tomorrow. Sorry for the delay.

No problem. I seem to have found either a bug in MusicLibrary 2 or my GBPVR installation is hosed. I am working with Psycik to try and get that working first, we should get that 3-28 (my time, GMT -5). Once I get that worked out I'll apply the skin and see how it goes. I like testing stuff out!

This release works fine on the old GBPVR on my server, but not at all on my MVP via PVRX2. There is an error with musiclibrary2.dll in MVP-PVRX2.log. See attached logfiles which were created using the default blue skin.
I can not run PVRX2 on my GBPVR server machine because its on board video is not powerfull enough.
I did mention this error two days ago directly to you over the email with an earlier version of the 7.2 release)

Did you install the plugin twice?
1x in gbpvr\plugins (for GBPVR)
and 1x in gbpvr\plugins\musiclibrary2 (for PVRX2).

Thanks, that was not the problem, but your remark forced me to look once more to the installed plugins. There apparantly was a conflict with an experimental version of MLPanel that I had installed. After some fiddling with the skin.xml I now have the composer information as well in the actually playing song.
