The tuning assistant only uses the tuner. It doesnt matter that you're getting video via the composite input - I just want see if you getting snow video on each channel the tuning assistant gets. Either cable or antenna would do.

im not seeing a response from it checking the channels. i just hooked it up via s video and it is the same issue, no video but good sound.

Sorry, I'm running out of ideas. I dont really know what your problem is. (I'd double check you chose the composite input when setting up your capture sources though)

yep, definitely got it on composite. i switched to svideo because i hooked that up as well. it doesnt make any sense.

Sorry, I dont know then. I dont own one of these devices, so GB-PVR has never been offically tested on one. Some users have indicated it worked for them in the past though.

ain't this about a blip. i completely uninstalled the tv tuner. reinstalled it like 4 times and could not get the computer to even recognize it. finally got it recognized and now its working with this program. computers make me mad! stupid stuff like this happens. thanks for your support sub.

I don't think I needed it but for $55 I couldn't resist!! I just bought the Adaptec 3610 and got it running within an hour...the installation of the devices is stupid. I downloaded the HP drivers and installed it...the key is to install the drivers before plugging in the device. Once installed I rebooted, then plugged it in then rebooted. It seems that most of the time was spent rebooting the darned thing.

Setting up GBPVR was easier than pie...it now recognizes it as a 3610...set each tuner up as #1 and #2 with my pvr 150 MCE as highest priority. I'm recording three programs at once right now and it seems to be working.

I haven't tried FM radio yet but that's for some other time. The only hitch is that the eHome IR is giving me a yellow exclamation mark. These are minor things which I'll probably fix some other time.

I'm guessing that the 3610 is now actually supported by GBPVR?
