I am getting an error when running Zprocess2.exe
Run-time error '76'
Path not found

Windows xp sp2

Installed/run the following:
vcredist_x86.exe
GBPVR10209.msi
ZTools Support Software-Install.bat
vbrun60sp6.exe
C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\Third Party\Ztools\Zprocess2.exe

Zprocess
Run-time error '76'
Path not found

Hi... Let's see if there's a log. If ZProcess got far enough it should have created a folder in your Recordings folder called MVP_Cache... inside that will be a dated folder and then you should see a zporcess.log file

If ZProcess crashes before it even gets there, we might have a different problem...

Can you check first and post the log if it exists, please?

Never mind, it seems to be installing fine after I have done the following (after removing already installed software and rebooting):

1. created a missing C:/temp directory
2. downloaded all software again and installed it again in the same sequence

I have the same problem but the fix from jaroslaw didn't work.
I try serveral tricks but every time I get the same error.
Also I have checked the logs, but it was not very helpfully.
Mayby you have a idea?

I'm not certain it's the same problem. Your log indicates you're getting some activity...

Have you had any success running manually?

Try just starting ZTranscode and loading a file and then trying to transcode...

If you still get err 76, then tell me what your paths are... (I notice that you are viewing German TV (Is that right?)

GBPVR folder, ZProcess, MENcoder, version of mencoder etc.

Please find bellow my installed components:

GBPVR v1.2.9 in path C:\Programme\Devnz\GBPVR\
ZProzess2 v2.0.230 in path C:\Programme\Devnz\GBPVR\Third Party\ZTools
MPlayer 1.0 rc2 in path C:\Programme\mplayer
(I also try out v. 1.0 rc1)

Recordings Directory is C:\temp
Live TV Buffer Directory Is : C:\temp
(I try also several other directorys, and yes the directorys are exist :-) )

I used GBPVR and ZProzess since a long time an I had in the past several problems to get the ZProzess work but every time I fixed it and ist works.
The most problems in the past made the MEncoder cause the v 1.0 rc2 was not working right. But the older version rc1 works perfekt.

But now I get by every transcoding the error message:

RUN TIME ERROR 76 - PATH NOT FOUND

As you instructed in a other threat i try firstly ZTranscode and load a file, cause ist less frustrated to test it on computer as on the MVP.
I do this every time after new install, to check if ZProzess2 works.

But since the new version,every time the error message occured.
Now I am very frustrated

I don't know what should I do??

Hi Frank,

the same error like the old version.
I checked also the logs, no new infos. Every time the same like the older one.


Its very strange, the older version (2.0.227) was working. Maybe you can give me the older one? So I will try and check.
