i'm a total noob don't know anything about FTA or this stupid Starbox II at all. I it as a gift from my bro (he thought it cool to get FTA through computer) but i can't make it to work at all...
so please help me out

You'd probably need to post a more detailed question to get a decent reply.

What exactly did you try in GB-PVR, and what didnt work?

Have you confirmed your setup is in a functioning state by running it with any other software? ie dish is point at correct satellite, cables all connected, correct LNB settings

that is the problem
i tries to install it and the last time it got one signal and it's not event work.
what i did:
i setup the dish (use sat finder it give me the noise) but i don't know if i point to the right place. By the way i live in Austin Texas United States 78744.
than i install the program that came with the dish.
it ask me to set the LNB frequency and Scan.
and i got one ch. that all that not working.

that why i'm looking for someone that know about FTA (help me setup the dish) and Starbox II (make it to work)
i don't know if this Starbox II would able to get all the ch. those Coolsat and Pansat product.

if someone can help me out it will be great

You'd probably better off confirming its functioning in something like myTheatre before trying to get it working in GB-PVR. The setup for DVB-S is more straight forward in myTheatre.

The free version can be run for an hour before needing to be restarted. Regardless of whther you end up buying it or not, its still useful to check your setup.

Hey man,

I have the twinhan starbox as well and have been trying up and down the wall to get it working... after 3 weeks of ongoing testing and different driver installation, nothing worked...

use mytheatre with driver 1.72 (the one that came with the card) and it should work, if it doesnt, mytheatre comes with drivers that are installed in the mytheatre folder in your program files folder.
then once thats working, and you know your pointing in the right direction, then you can begin testing.

like sub said, mytheatre is free to use for testing and what not. use emunation in congunction with mytheatre

good luck with it, but i can guarantee you wont get it work with gbpvr

if you do, please let me know what driver your using
