I'm new to GBPVR and I have searched the forums and wiki before posting my question.

I have conflicts that show two shows trying to record at the same time but I have two tuner cards. Why does it not automatically select the other tuner card to record the second show?

Things I have tried and looked at so far:

Both cards work and on live TV and record (I confirmed this by rearranging their order under Define sources)

They both share the same EPG data (from what I have read on the forms this is normal)

They both share the same channel numbers (I could not find if this could be an issue or not)

Thanks in advance for your help,
Andrew

Reproduce the problem by scheduling two recordings at a time that doesnt already have any recordings, then zip and attach the pvrx2.exe.log and I'll take a look.

In doing what you asked I received the following message that I did not receive before because I was creating reoccurring recordings then. This time I selected a single show to record and then selected another single show at the same time to record and received this message:

"The following conflicts were found:"
No changes. Cancel my new recording request.
Cancel: Everybody Loves Raymond

It is like it doesn't understand that it can use the other turner.

I'm thinking it must be something in my configuration that is telling it not to use both tuners for recording - I'm just not seeing it.

Any thoughts,
Andrew

You also need to post the log covering that time.

Here is the log file. But doing that test I could not record two shows at once.
Thanks, Andrew

Are you sure that is the correct log? I cant see any recordings scheduled in that log.

Restart the app, and try again to schedule two more recordings (at an unused time), and this time take a note of time so I know exactly where to look in your logs.

Thats ok, thats what I want to see. Then I'd be able to look at the logs and hopefully tell you why it couldnt schedule the second recording.

Are you able to zip and attach your gbpvr.db3 file so I can check a couple of things?

I got this message when trying to upload that file here:

Your file of 5.66 MB bytes exceeds the forum's limit of 1.43 MB for this filetype.
