NZ Freeview EPG out by an hour...

My PVR 500 and DVB-S channels are out by an hour.

The 6 oclock news starting at 5 pm??

If I want to correct but changing the offset on the XMLTV source, would I be adding 1 hr or removing 1 hour??

From what I've read its a problem with the EPG being transmitted, as its also affecting some set top boxes and MythTV/MediaPortal/etc. Hopefully they'll fix it later today.

yeah, I'm hoping as well...but can I correct with applying an offset?

You could probably run some SQL to add an hour, or edit the xmltv file to add an hour to the times or adding " +0100" to the times.

Does the offset in the channel source not give this functionality?? it didn't seem to have any effect changing to +1 hr or -1hr

To be honest, I cant remember if that works. You could try it and see.

Any updates on this anyone? I just cleared my EPG guide now and reloaded it but it is still out by an hour.

They're still wrong on the broadcast. I know several people have contacted them about it, and they indicated they were looking at it, so I'm sure it'll be fixed soon.

Cleared my EPG and then reloaded... now out by 12 hours?
