What files do you have in your web\bin directory?
Well I reinstalled GBPVR from scratch and using the default version of EWA I still can't get anywhere. Isn't that the latest version or is there a newer version than 74?
Here's a screen shot of the bin directory after the reinstall. Yes, I have previously deleted the files as suggested in the wiki with no difference at all.

I have a few more files in my bin directory.....

GBPVRRecordingService.exe.log
Upon stopping the service, I get this error just a few seconds after the DOS box disappears. It does restart successfullly.
Sorry, forgot to include the log.

I added the commongbpvrutilities.dll file and stopped the recording service and checked the logs again. That error is no longer there but this one is:
00.697 ERROR [4] Error starting webserver: Could not load file or assembly 'GBPVRRecordingService, Version=1.0.2990.23750, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.
Still no luck getting it to work. I'll keep trying but am calling it a night soon.
Thanks for all the help.

The recording service error is due to SlimmGBPVR. When shut down, there is no error. Of course this has nothing to do with EWA which still won't load.

No, I've never even thought to look. I've tried changing ports and had no luck either.

I played with the port settings in my Linksys router and changed to a port shown in netstat and now I get this. Not sure how to open this file.

Sweet! Got it working with the default port. Seems the 'enable' check in my router settings were unchecked. The only thing I can think of is a few weeks ago we had a power outage for awhile. Had to hard reset the router and didn't even think that some settings may have changed.
I've very sorry to have put everyone thru endless posts when it was my oversight. I owe all virtual beers for the trouble.
Thanks for hanging in their with a dumb ass!
