I've noticed when I watch an in-progress DVR-MS recording, as soon as the recording completes the very next pause or skip will start the video over at the beginning. At that point I can't skip forward into the video at all until I exit and resume. Each skip otherwise just restarts right at the beginning.

I can however simply exit and resume. It's just one of the those little annoying things that I wish would go away. Smile

I've not noticed it myself in the past, or seen any reports, but will try to test it in the near future (busy at work). If it does do it though, I cant think of what would fix it - it'd have to be a bug in the Microsoft SBE libraries.

I see similar results when playing Freeview recorded .ts files from the computer. When the recording gets to the end, it usually goes back to the beginning and plays with no sound.

That one is a known issue with the new TS Reader component. Only applies to .ts files though, so wont be the problem he is seeing with .dvr-ms files.
