I have a question for PCH users.....My PCH's front panel is all black...no writing on it at all.

There are 2 USB plugs on the left hand side of the front. To the right of the USB connections there is a cut-out area....about 2 inches long and 3/4 inches high.....where there are 2 lights....one green (turns orange when I reboot) and a red light the blinks periodically for no apparent reason. Lots of open space around the lights.....you can actually see the component board.

When I was over on the NMT site I stumbled into their picture gallery....on the pictures (example) on their site the front panel on the pictures looks different than mine....so I am just wondering how many people have the plane-jane front that I have and how many have the more finished front shown in the picutures on the NMT site.

The front of mine look the same as that photo you linked. ie, front panel white-on-black images in front of the lights, logo and name on lower right.

Mine is a little different from that pictured though, with black mesh at the ends, and nicer screws on the time. I've also flipped the lid so I dont have to look at the big popcorn logo.

Interesting....lights moved from the right to the left...and they cheaped out on the front panel......I'll take a picture and post it....

Mine look like the example without the cooling mod. Maybe the front plate is reversed?

Yuck, I'd RMA that or at least ask that they mail you a new front panel.

Yea...not too attractive....but it could be worse....I posted a support ticket with them to find out what's up with the plain front....

Yeah, that bizarre. Looks like they forgot to apply the top layer plastic sticker or something similar.

I just took mine apart and the panel comes off very easily but the plastic is fixed to the front piece. Still it should be simple for PCH to mail you a new one.

I hope that's not going to affect your warranty...Big Grin
