Hi again. I can see that there's a box to ignore file name prefixes, but can I get it to ignore suffixes? A lot of films from popular-but-not-exactly-legal-internet sources are titled something like 'filename[year].[AC3].[DVD].uploader.avi' for example.
Without wanting to condone the use of such sites it would save a lot of time if the plugin could identify the title from this type of filename.
thanks.

Current MovieWiz attempts to determine the title as follows:
  • Remove anything enclosed in [ ] (including the brackets).
  • Drop the extension
  • If '-' exists, attempt a TheTvDb lookup with string to left of '-' as series, string to right of '-' as episode
  • If not found attempt IMDB lookup on title (with '-')
  • If not found check EPG and use data there if found
With the filename you supplied, that would resovle to 'filename...uploader'. Since most (I can't think of any) titles do not have a period in them, I will add logic to remove anything after the 1st '.' also.
