Now I do have the movie in the Downloads list, and there is the wmv and xml files in a directory WatchNow\moviename. When you start a download, where should the movie be listed as currently being downloaded?

I can play the movie in Windows Media Player, but it pops up a dialog saying I don't have the rights, and to click Yes to visit the license site, I click Yes and it displays the Netflix logo and it has a Play button, I click that and then the movie plays. How does all of this get automated by the plugin, and play on my TV? I have dual video setup.
NPVR 4.1.0.180302 o Kodi 17.6 o EventGhost 0.5.0.rc4 o SAF 6.3.2 o SchedulesDirect

Sometimes it takes a few seconds for the download to show up. It's because netflix is creating the download. There is nowhere that tells you which movie is currently being downloaded at the moment. I just didn't think of it to be honest.

Open Windows Media Player. Go to "Tools" -> "Options" -> "Privacy" tab. Check the option "Download usage rights automatically..."

As for the dual video setup. I think it will only play on your primary monitor due to the DRM. I only have a single monitor setup but there was some discussion about it in the old thread.

Due to some issues with XP MCE, I clean loaded my box with Vista and reinstalled everything. The Netflix plugin is working awesome (once I figured out the missing WatchNow folder).
My only remaining issue is fast forward and rewind don't seem to respond.
Will this work while the movie is still downloading? or only when completed?
Just wondered what the remote buttons control so I can figure that small issue out.
The stop, pause, and play buttons work fine however.

Thanks again for this cool plugin.

ps.
One more for the "wish list": High Vis Text for smaller TV screens (ie. 32" @ 15')

I don't have a remote connected at the moment so I only tested the keyboard commands. I'm recoding the player portion from scratch anyway. The current build is still the old player.

You should be able to modify your skin file to accomodate it. I only have a HD displays so anything I change would be complete guesswork.

I was on the netflix website, and see they have split the queue into 2 different ones.
the instant queue is now seperate from the DVD one.

about an hour after I saw that, I noticed I can no longer get movie info and the download button is gone.
the queue menu is gone too.

Great.Rolleyes

I wonder what else will change on the website. I'll update as soon as I can.

Edit:
I just looked at this. The "Instant Queue" on the website has nothing to do with this plugin. If you add DVD to your regular queue and it is available as a "Watch Now", this plugin will detect that. The plugin actually gets the movies that are in your Queue from the RSS feed and then compares them to the movies in the list of available Watch Now movies. If you add a movie to your "Instant Queue" but not the regular queue, the plugin will not detect it. I doubt that I will be adding the Instant Queue feature. It is just one more scraping that can break if they change the webpage. The RSS queue is much simpler and cleaner.

Yes. I just tested it. If you have a DVD that is in your main queue and it is available as a Watch Now, the "Queue" option is available in the plugin and you are able to download and watch the movie.

Actually, I never tested the TV shows from the queue. I suspect it's due to them having a different ID. I'll look into it but that's all I can promise at the moment.
