Hi Psycik - hidden throughout my music collection are loads of corrupt, or just plain bad tracks. Rather than analy trawl my collection track by track to find them I'd like away to delete a track from the PC (rather than just from the playlist) as it comes up during shuffle play on ML2.
A slightly more elegent system, and possibly of use to more people, would be an add to playlist button so I can move an unwanted track from the random selection to a new playlist that I can review later or load into another media player and delete manually. Of course this could also be used for creating playlists for other reasons such as transfering to MP3 players....
thanks

Would this be adding a track to a playlist when playing or not playing?

Currently tracks can only be added to a new (and playback starts) or currently playing playlist.

So to look at you second option, you would be playing a selection of tracks (we don't care how the selection of tracks has been generated) and you come across a song that for whatever reason you want to remove it later, a move track to another (fixed playlist name) playlist.

Does that about sum it up?

I've been thinking of using the menu button in the playlist screen for some options (similar to the menu button use in the library screen). So there would be a "button" for it.

I'll have a chat to smelcher (guy who helps me with ML2 now) about it, since he's more the playlist man than I am....

Yeah I think that's about it.
To be pedantic, copy (rather than move) from current playlist to new playlist might be more beneficial to people as you could do things like listen to your 'rock' playlist and build a 'favorites' or ''car'' playlist on the fly.
