I see that the conversion didn't work, and I aslo see that there is a note in the config menu on the need for Cyberlink or ATI MPEG Mux for conversion.

I will search for these.

Also still wondering why the DVR-MS files don't play using GB-PVR

Instead of converting, try changing the "BDA Multiplexer" in the "Misc 2" tab to "TS Mux". I think that format is viewable on the AHour. You can check the MVP forum to be sure.

OK, I will give that a try. I will be using mvpmcx2 to view on Popcornhour so maybe the format doesn't matter.

The PCH doesn't support DVR-MS so it matters. I use TS Mux myself.

Alright, it looks like I am having the same problem I was having with my old PC now. The .ts files that are being recorded are zero bytes. I tried with two shows and get the same result.

Post your pvrx2* and recording* logs after attempting to record.

I'm not sure if its the cause or not, but I did notice this in your recording service logs:

2008-05-10 11:57:55.734 VERBOSE FindFilterByName failed to locate filter: GB-PVR PSI Parser

Try running the reregisterfilters.bat file. If you're on vista, you'll need tos tart a command problem with 'run as administrator' and run it form there.

did a search on *registerfilters.bat and found re-registerfilters.bat in ...Devnz\GBPVR\ folder. L double clicked on the bat file from my search folder and got several ...suceeded dialog boxes.

I will try and record something now.

OK, tried another recording and the output was another set of two zero byte files.
