Hi

I am using v1.2.9 now - I used to use the MyPictures photo plugin to view photos since it was the only way I could find to get the right aspect ratio. However in v1.2.9 MYPictures plugin doesnt work so I am back to trying the built in Photo Library viewer.

But I still cant get the right aspect ratio - I have GBPVR set to 16:9 widescreen with Blue standard skin - TV etc are all fine, but photos are always stretched horizontally. Is there any way to adjust the aspect ratio for the Photo Libary plugin (or alternatively get the My Pictures plugin to work again)?

Thanks

I'm not aware of any problems with the aspect ratio in the picture library. Can you post a screen shot?

I assume this is on your PC, not on an MVP?

Attached is an eg - on my screen all photos with a circle in them are stretched about 30% horizontally with Photo Library - this photo is of a circular stained glass window - it is taken slightly from below so it wasnt completely round in the original, but the horizontal stretching is clear here on my screen. In the My Pictures plugin I was taking about 30% off all photos so even lanscape ones had sidebars - this made them look right

Thanks

Can you attach the screen shot again (as a .jpg file), and the original image file?

(Sorry I deleted the 2.5MB BMP that was attached... thinking about the forum backup size)

That clock looks pretty round in your screenshot. I measured it here in photoshop, and cant really see any notable difference in its horizontal vs vertical size.

I just measured the clock on my TV in both Photo Library and Windows Fax and Picture viewer and it is 5.5 cm high by 7.6cm wide - it looks like the problem must be my Monitor settings somewhere?

Thanks

The screenshot you posted is 1024x768, and from what I can tell looking at the screenshot in photoshop, the clock looks perfectly round. If there is any difference its only a pixel or two, which would easily caused by my measuring abilities - definitely not a difference like 5.5cm by 7.6cm .

Do you have the TV shape set correctly in the config app?

Thanks
