Vista vs XP for GB-PVR

I think using Vista really has a huge advantage over XP. With all the new media formats and the things involved in setting up the o/s, renderer, drivers and Direct Show codecs filters and splitter I find installing XP harder to install then I ever needed for MythTV. Getting most of this out of the box is really nice especially for in-experienced users. Martin

I'd generally agree there, I was pleasantly surprised. Some of the share and UAC stuff take a bit to get your head around, and I have an issue with USB (USBUIRT won't work with MVP :mad but apart from that it was a lot less painless than I thought it might be.
