You didn't have netflix set to remember you on login. Open your web browser, go to netflix.com, enter your login info and check the box that says "Remember me on this computer."

After this, the downloads should work.

I was pretty sure that I had done all of that already. But just in case I went back to netflix, logged out, and logged back in again and tried to download and view my downloads but nothing was there again. I do get all of the movie posters downloaded fine just not the movies themselves.

The logs that you posted showed that it was unable to find streams for the movie you attempted to download and returned the login page instead. If you view the details for the "30 Rock" TV series, you should see descriptions for each episode if your login is set up as persistent.

Also, if browse to your movie cache folder, does it contain any of your downloads?

Are you on Vista? If so, are you running PVRx2 as administrator or have you disabled UAC?

I can see all of the descriptions of everything that is listed.

The only files that are in my movie cache folder are the WatchNowList XML document and the zipped WatchNowList.

And I am running under Windows XP. So I'm not sure if there's an administrator issue with that.

By the way I apreciate you spending so much time on this problem!

Ok, there was an issue sometime back where the cookies were not being read properly on an XP machine. I fixed that particular issue but you may be experiencing a variation of it.

Unfortunately there has been a lot of code changes since the build you are using so I can't do a simple patch to find out the issue. I'm getting ready to release another build in a day or two (hopefully tonight if I can solve a problem I'm experiencing). I'll try to make sure there is sufficient logging to find the problem.

Ok...Not sure exactly what step of the process did it but...

When I use PVRX2 on the PC running GB-PVR I can use the plugin just fine (thank you very much whurlston), and I did NOT expect to be able to play the DRM protected video on my Popcorn Hour...because that requires Windows Media Player 11...this I understand.

However I did expect the other parts of GB-PVR, which worked until now, on the PCH to continue functioning...but they don't. Try starting GB on PCH and screen goes black (as normal before menu) but then stays black for a while and then the "remember to backup your HDD" message followed by regular PCH interface. So GB crashes somewhere.

Next steps I tried...go into config and turn off checkbox for WatchNow and try PCH again...no luck. Change name of latest CommonGBPVRUtilities.dll to backup name and replace original CommonGBPVRUtilities (still leaving WatchNow turned off) try PCH again...no luck. Will have to try the skin folder next perhaps.

There should be nothing in the plugin that will interfere with the PCH. I don't have a PCH so I can't test it definitively though.

Questor's symptoms indicate a PVRx2.exe crash which often requires a reboot of the PCH hardware. It is most likely the source filename being passed is not found (or opened exclusively), but the GBPVR logs should show this.

Thanks Martin.

Questor, can you zip and post your PVRx2.*.log files after reproducing the issue?

Any idea what might be causing this? I have the CommonGBPVRUtilities.dll in my Plugins/Common folder, along with the 3 DLLs included in the release. Kinda lost as to what might be causing it. Any help is appreciated, thanks!
