Not finding channels

The setup:
2.4ghz Pentium M laptop with 1gb of RAM running XPSP2
latest version of GBPVR
Pinnacle PCTV HD Pro stick (seen in software as the 8x0e device) for OTA decoding

The problem:
It won't find a single channel

I've been through the GBPVR documentation and followed each step properly as far as I can tell. I know that the device itself works because it will properly decode in the Pinnacle software that came with it.

Any ideas as to how to troubleshoot this?

Try doing a scan in the config app, then zip and attach the config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.

It looks like you have the DVB-T version selected. In the Config where you select the device, there should be another option with a Type of "ATSC".

I selected the option to only show devices connected to this machine and that's what it picked (Pinnacle PCTV Hybrid Pro stick (type2)). I edited BDA.INI to show ATSC instead but it still didn't find any channels.

Try unchecking the "Show only installed devices" and select "Pinnacle PCTV HD Ultimate Stick". If it still doesn't find channels, post the new logs.

As requested, fresh log files using the Pinnacle HD Ultimate config.

It scans properly it seems but never manages to find a signal. I'll see if I can find my Pinnacle stick and run a test.

Just to satisfy my curiosity, can you run FilterCheck.exe and post the resulting log?
