I had another question. If I download a show on one machine, can I copy it to another's cache folder and have it work? Or is there some index or db that needs to know that it's there?

Where are you posting the updated builds? Or have you made any new builds?

I haven't posted it yet. I went out of town last weekend for an early anniversary getaway so I'm a little behind. I will post the link to the new build in the first post of this thread as well as a new post to bump the thread.

I was able to copy the actual wmv file to another computer, and play it in WMP. It just acquired the Digital Rights from Netflix, and i believe it counts against your hours again.

Sorry, I missed this post but thetmaxx is right. You do need the Netflix player installed for the DRM stuff to work but then you can watch it in WMP.

I haven't tested this, but if you share your movie cache folder on one machine and point the movie cache folder of a second machine to the share, you should be able to see your downloads on both machines.

I love the idea of the NetFlix plugin. I am attempting to get it working and having a problem.. I have gotten the plugin setup so it shows up in the Menus. I select it from the menu and nothing ever happens. Looking at the pvrx2.exe-log, it shows:

2008-06-02 08:19:10.234 INFO Key pressed: Down
2008-06-02 08:19:10.281 VERBOSE SetRenderList creating new texture (256 x 42)

IS THIS TRUE? Does it really count against your hours? Or does that depend on whatever plan you have? I don't want to keep downloading and watching stuff and having some counter running. Please confirm. In the meanwhile, I'll go dig around my netflix account to see if I find anything about this..

You may need to manually create the movie cache folder. There is a bug where that folder was not created by the config. It has been fixed for the next release (which should be tonight).

agidius is correct. All plans are unlimited except for the 1-at-a-time so it will show up in your watch now history every time you watch a movie but there is no limit.

Thanks, I just checked it out and it said unlimited.

I just had a crash after exiting a movie. I clicked continue and I could get back into pvrx2. Here's the info:
