CDK Scheduler Request

I have been working with Xrecord through Scheduler and it is awesome - kudos to the programmers.

I would like to be able to set this up to record all instances of Carnivale on HBO. Problem is that I do not want it to record the ones on HBO Latin. My problem is that I cannot remove that channel from the lineup. I have tried through config, throgh the ZAP2it site, and nothing will remove it. It would be great to tell Xrecord to record all instances, except a certain channel (meaning, record by exclusion rather than inclusion).

Is this possible?

That is not possible right now.

The biggest hurdle will be how to set this up on the UI. Do you have any ideas?

I will add the feature that you can add multiple channels for inclusion and multiple channels for exclusion.

I'm in the middle of some tweaks in the scheduler right now, so that might have to wait until I finish.

jrock, thanks for the reply. I did not think through how to integrate into the UI. To be frank, I am not a programmer just a user. That said, I am comfortable editing the xml document to set up my recordings and priorities. Mainly because I have never been able to successfully rearrange priorities in the UI, so I just use the xml.

I thin if the first step were to add that flexibility to exclude channels in the recording scheudle, then a good follow up would be to integrate into the UI.
