No live TV but my recordings record

I recently added a second tuner to my system and then removed it as i wanst getting great signal. Since then i can not longer watch live tv but all my recordings are getting recorded. I am unable to post my logs at the moment, but was wondering if there were suggestions as to how to get live tv back

Post your logs and I'll take a look. Maybe you left your second capture source setup when you removed the second card?

It is attempting to change channels with an MCE IR blaster but tuning to a QAM channel on an HVR-1600.

Unfortunetly thats my setup. I have my hvr 1600 set up as a QAM device and am using the MCE remote, it is just weird that it will record everything fine, but i just cant view the live stuf

I don't mean an MCE remote. It is trying to send a channel change command through a blaster as in trying to send an IR signal from the PC to an STB. Check your recording source config and make sure the "Channel Changer" setting is set to "No channel changer required".

Ok i changed the setting to no blaster, but still no luck only blank screen

I did notice in one of the pvrx2 native logs this message and dont know what it means

pFG2->RenderEx(pOutputPin, AM_RENDEREX_RENDERTOEXISTINGRENDERERS, NULL) failed: -2147220843 (trying normal render() next)

That message usually means it is unable to find a combination of decoders that can be used. Try using a video decoder other than 'ffdshow video decoder' or 'MPEG Video Decoder' - these can both be problematic. Try the MPV decoder from http://www.free-codecs.com/download/MPV_Decoder.htm

Thanks for the info, but unfortunately i found that when live preview mode has been de selected i get to watch the channel. From my understanding this means that it is recording all the time, so i am wondering if there has been a major change to live preview from 1.2.9 to 1.2.13. I see other have a similar problem too.
