I just put the .pdb file in the netflix folder with the .dll
is that where it is supposed to be??

I tried it again with the same results, but the logs look the same to me.
do you want me to post the .pdb??

Yes that's where it's supposed to be. Can you post the new logs? If PVRx2 was running when you unzipped the new files you will need to restart it for the new dll to take effect.

My mistake. I gave you the wrong dll. Here is the correct one.

Config form won't let me change Watch Now directory,
Delete on GB-PVR exit checkbox isn't ever enabled so you can click it.
Selecting movie from Downloads, then Watch Now, plays movie on primary monitor.
When movie plays, task doesn't have focus so you can't hit Escape to exit. I had to Alt-Tab to it so I could hit Escape to get back to my desktop.

I'm really liking your plugin, nice job!!!

Wakalaka Wrote:Delete on GB-PVR exit checkbox isn't ever enabled so you can click it.
It's disabled because the plugin currently has no way of knowing when GBPVR exits. I left it there so that should that information become available, I just need to enable the option.
Wakalaka Wrote:Selecting movie from Downloads, then Watch Now, plays movie on primary monitor.
I don't think it will play on the second monitor due to the DRM. If you press <Alt>+<Enter> (while it has focus) it will exit fullscreen and you can drag the window. Does it play after dragging it to the secondary monitor?

It works fine here. Are you sure there is not something stealing focus? What program has focus?

Ok, is the download link in post one the latest version now, or do I need to add the .dll a few post above this one?

Post #173 contains the latest dll but it is a debug build. I was waiting for confirmation from agidius that it worked before compiling the release version and adding it to the main download. Debug build just means that it gives me extra data in the errors like exactly which line number in the code caused the error. You can safely use the dll though.

Post #166 contains the latest release build but still errors on one of agidius' clients which hopefully post #173 fixes.

the new download now gives me an unhandled exception instead of just exiting.

I can't download from the link. Can you upload the logs to the forum? I'm really curious now because I'm now handling the entire function that your previous logs said was causing the error.

agidius, do you have PVRx2 running when you overwrite the dlls? The very first thing the plugin does when activated is write a log entry saying it is activating:
Code:
2008-06-06 15:20:08.539    VERBOSE    [1]    Looking for missing assembly in plugin\common: NetFlixAPI, Version=1.0.0.4, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null
2008-06-06 15:20:08.539    VERBOSE    [1]    Assembly found...
2008-06-06 15:20:08.541    VERBOSE    [1]    ...and loaded
2008-06-06 15:20:08.543    INFO    [1]    [color=red][B]Netflix: Watch Now: Plugin activated.[/B][/color]
2008-06-06 15:20:08.544    INFO    [1]    Netflix: Watch Now: Temp path (for NMT debug) is 'C:\Users\William Hurlston\AppData\Local\Temp\'
Your's is showing a message from an older version of the plugin:
Code:
2008-06-07 00:13:18.234    VERBOSE    [1]    Looking for missing assembly in plugin\common: NetFlixAPI, Version=1.0.0.4, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null
2008-06-07 00:13:18.234    VERBOSE    [1]    Assembly found...
2008-06-07 00:13:18.234    VERBOSE    [1]    ...and loaded
2008-06-07 00:13:18.343    VERBOSE    [1]    ReturnToMainMenu()
2008-06-07 00:13:18.343    VERBOSE    [1]    [color=Red][B]Netflix Watch Now is currently active[/B][/color]
2008-06-07 00:13:18.343    VERBOSE    [1]    Netflix Watch Now.Deactivate() called
This means that it is not using the new dll. This can happen if PVRx2 is running when you try to overwrite the dll. If you are running any MVP/NMT clients, you will need to shut them down as well. Use task manager to make sure no copies of PVRx2.exe are running.
