Has anyone got this card (link) working in GBPVR yet?
Thinking of setting up a PC with two - would that let me do the whole "record one channel while watching another/record two channels stuff like Sky+?
I'd want it to access the "Freesat" service in the UK, including HD content from the BBC and so on.

Would a graphics card like the ATI Radeon 2400 HD decode HD stuff fine (and reduce the need for a monster CPU) or is there more to it than that?

Ta!

Yup I have the dvb-s2 hauppauge card and a 2600 pro. You need to add this to bda.in file

[Hauppauge Nova-HD-S2]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-S
FILTER_TUNER=Hauppauge WinTV 88x DVB-S/S2 Tuner/Demod
FILTER_CAPTURE=Hauppauge WinTV 88x TS Capture
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=MPEG2 Transport

...as for video acceleration, yes it works but I also believe cpu grunt helps a lot, some have a better expeience than others.
W10, i3 6100T + Gigabyte H170, No Fans!, BGT3620, Hauppauge Nova S2, 8Gb ram, asus xonar d2x, Khadas Tone Board, arcam avr600.

Got it working yesterday with my S2.

Recording worked fine from the RT EPG. I had a peek at the Task Manager/Processes and it was using 3 to 4% of processor capacity (Core 2 Duo 2.13 with 2GB).

Playback excellent (BBC HD), peaking at 53% of processor capacity.

Graphics card is Radeon x1650se 512 MB.

This is a great product, and the user documentation is outstanding. Many thanks to all who contributed.
