This is a network permissions error. I suggest deleting mvpmcx2 and then just unzipping it to the share again to see if the new rights are automatically granted by Windows.

It's working now Smile. Only, the picture is very distorted. I'm getting three times the image and flickering. Guess I got to adjust the config.xml right?

Compress and upload your GBPVR logs and I will have a look. It does sound like you are using the wrong display settings.

sub Wrote:Have you tried to run it more than once? The telnet command will only succeed the first time after each power up of the PCH. Subsequent attempts to run it will give this mkdir error.

I have also been having a frustating time with this. If I power off the PCH and restart from scratch, I have a nice USB setup which will go straight into GBPVR and run no problem. I also have a Network Share setup which works very much the same, but without automatically going into GBPVR (files attached).

However when I power off the PCH and turn it on again, I get the script menu and when I try to go into gbpvr again (whether by Network Browser or USB) I get the dreaded:

Code:
mkdir cannot create directory 'etc/mvpmc' : File exists mkdir cannot create dir

Is this a share or a bad script issue? It's driving me nuts. If I could solve this, I'd be on the PCH for good now that we have comskip (thanks again Martin!). This is pretty much the only reason I use the MVP still.

Your script is bad move

mkdir /etc/mvpmc >/dev/NULL

before the mount --bind command.

Coolio, can't wait to try it when I get home!
I love simple fixes resulting from my own incompetence :-) LOL....

Great, that worked on the USB script thanks! Goes right into GBPVR on startup and stays there, turbns off great and all. Wonderful!

Could you see a reason why the other script (the one on the server as opposed to the USB) wouldn't work either though?

The gbpvr.cgi file looks basically ok. I'm not sure I understand what you are trying to achieve. If you just want the GB-PVR.html file to load when you select the mvpmc share rename it to index.html I'm not sure where the other index.html came from.
