I didn't think it would work on a client in a month of sundays but if you think you can get it working, that would be awesome.

plugin still working fine here Brian.

I bet you've been thinking about how to schedule recordings as well haven't you or using the record button to record the current show until it ends.....:-)

Yeah - remember how long it took to get gbpvr working reliably in client mode! But it was indeed awsome when it did

Good luck...Smile

If you're sure the skin is correct, could you try again and post the full pvrx2.exe.log file as well as all of the files from the dvbt radio Logs folder.

Cheers,
Briian

This is the same error I'm getting. I use the default blue skin, and just dragged and dropped the two zip files onto the gbpvr folder so I assume the skin and plugin installed correctly.

Did you drag'n'drop the zip files or their contents? If you did the first, you'll have simply copied them there rather than extracted the files contained within them.

BTW - you'll need the ChannelLogos zip as well for it to work correctly.

I've just tried to get DVB radio working, but I'm not having much luck. It scans and finds all the channels (and their logos) fine, but when I attempt to play them I just get silence.

Perhaps it's related to the lame encoder thing? I wasn't 100% sure how to install it. I got the lame.ax file and ran 'regsvr32 lame.ax' - it said it registered ok.

I have three tuners, a Pinnacle 3010 dual tuner (with blackgold drivers), and a Nova-T USB2.

I've attached the logs from the plugin's directory.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

It's not a problem with the LAME encoder - the playback graph built absolutely fine including that. It crashed when trying to run however, and the error is a bit non-descript.

A couple of people had problems where they could scan for channels OK but the process crashed when first trying to play a channel.

Start Task Manager and look on the Processes tab, if there's a Dvbtr.exe process there, select it and use End Process to get rid of it then start PVRX2 and the plugin and try again. Let me know what happens.

Brian

Dvbtr.exe is running in task manager when I select a station in PVRX2. It doesn't appear to be using any CPU time.

For the logs attached this time, I did the following:

- Cleared the logs
- Started PVRX2
- Selected a radio station (nothing happened)
- Ended the Dvbtr.exe task in task manager
- Exited PVRX2 using its menus
- Restarted it
- Selected a radio station (nothing happened)
- Ended the Dvbtr.exe task in task manager
- Selected a radio station (PVRX2 crashed)

Cheers for the help...

Sorry - possibly I wasn't very clear - I only meant end the Dvbtr process if it was still showing in Task Manager when PVRX2 was closed. It should normally be there but occasionally stays after PVRX2 has been exited and it can cause problems in that state.

It doesn't seem to be the problem though - the process is failing with the same error everytime and I'm not sure why.

Do you have a copy of GraphEdit? If not, could you try downloading a copy from this link http://www.digital-digest.com/dvd/downlo...t_141.html

You'll need to register the proppage.dll with regsvr32.

Start GraphEdit, choose File -> Open Graph... then find the Dvbtr.grf file in the Graphs folder of the DVB-T Radio plugin. Take a screenshot of the graph and zip and post it here and I'll see if it makes any sense. You may need to take a screenshot of the left and right sides if it doesn't all fit on one screen.

Cheers,
Brian

Ah right, sorry. It was still running after PVRX2 was closed. I've attached logs that show me starting PVRX2, starting the plugin, exiting PVRX2, killing the Dvbtr exe in task manager, then going through the entire process again.

The graph looks right - the only 'uknown' in there is the NVIDIA Audio Decoder but I'm not sure if it's the cause of the problem. Could you try downloading and registering the MPA Decoder from here...

http://www.free-codecs.com/download/MPA_Decoder.htm

It's the audio decoder which my setup uses so I know it works in the dvb-t radio graphs.

Cheers,
Brian
