Hi everyone.
I am interested in recording the subtitles of programs, specially in a text format if possible. Is it possible? Can I record the subtitles of a program? Is it possible to save them as they are transferred on teletext or DVB? Or only on a video, recording the program itself, subtitled?

Thank you in advance!

Yes, GB-PVR attempts to record the teletext subtitles to a .srt file.

Oooook

And is it possible to do it live? and without recording any video, only subtitles? How many channels simultaneously?

My wish is to record subtitles of some tv programs, maybe from several channels at one time, only with my PC.

Thanks for your quick answer!

It'll only do it when you're recording.

I cant see any need for recording subtitles without recording the problem itself.

It can do as many channels as you have capture cards.

We'll.... I am now really curious as to why you want to record lots of subtitles without the program that goes with it.

Please put me out of my misery and tell.

I understand that the video must be recorded too, right?

I am interested in what is said, but not so interested in images.
Imagine I want to record an interview to an actor, then I just need to know what is asked and answered, but I do not care about the images.
Recording video is much heavier than text, you know... So if I can help recording video, then perfect.

Keep in mind that GB-PVR is only for personal use. It cant be used for any business purpose, regardless of the type of organisation
