Newbie:cannot scan channels with Skystar2

Hello members,
I'm new to the GBPVR,fresh copy of 1.2.13 installed. After searching and reading this forum I installed Technisat drivers 4.4.3, which should be BDA compliant. However I cannot tune any channel, GBPVR giving the message "GBPVR was unable to start BDA device you have configured. Check the device is configured properly and not already in use.:"

The card and driver is working fine with ProgDvb.

Are you using the standard gbvpr transponder ini file of have you downloaded a new one from joshyfun or king of sat?

Standard one, is it different fromthe other one ?
In the night I'll try to get the other transponder file...

Check the .ini file you are using in the /gbpvr/bda/dvb-s/ folder, open it with notepad and paste the first 10 lines or so on the thread.

You'll need to reproduce the problem then zip and attach the config.exe-native.log

well, I found the problem, I actually did not have BDA drivers installed. After re-examining skystar2 driver installation package, I found the directory BDa and file called skynetBDA.sys
After upgrading the driver to this file GBPVR works !
Silly me...
