TV Listings 2 - Support Thread

Since I installed the new version of TV Listings, I can not get it to display 3 hours in the listngs grid. I changed guideMinutes to be 180 in skin.xml. Is there something else that must be edited?

Also, what do I have to do so stations that don't have logos will not have a blank rectangle rather than the station's channel number or name? I am using the new Community skin that was just released.

I would also like to have the grid for a program be a different color (like it used to be in the earlier version) rather than have the colored circle.

Thanks. I had downloaded those files and thought I installed them but must have extracted them to the wrong directory somehow. I re-extracted them and this time it worked. The 3 hour grid is back.

Now, how can I go back to having the cell for a program that is scheduled to be recorded be in a different color rather than just have the orange ball appear in the cell?

I'm working with the new program images and recording status/genre colors to try and get close to the previous look of 2.2 that I like (and others too it seems). Below are some images to display what I see.
1 is how my TV Listings 2.2 looked.
2 is how TV Guide looks with high contrast genre and and status colors for testing.
3 is how TV Listings 2.5 looks with these same high contrast colors. They are hardly visible on the black grid.

Is there a way to make the status/genre colors higher contrast? So they look similar to the time line.

Another wish is that the arrow images be more narrow (20px?) so we don't lose as much space for the text, particularly with 180 min. grid. :o

in your skin.xml file, set "showStatusColor" to "true" in the listings placement node.

i think it depends on the images you're using for programmes. From memory, the genre- / status-color has more contrast when the images are brighter.

you can adjust the width of all images in your skin.xml file. But since pvrx2, all sizes are relative and the absolute sizes change with your screen resolution. So if you want to have the arrow images to be 20 pixels wide, and your horizontal screen resolution would be 1920, for example, a relative width of 20 / 1920 which is about 0.01 or 1 % of 1920 should bring you close to 20 pixels.

<NamedColor name="Pending" color="Red"/> should do it, but the color displayed now depends on the underlying image.

you can adjust the width of all images in your skin.xml file.

I've just uploaded a new release at the wiki that allows you to draw the programmes as in previous releases. You can enable it with a parameter named "legacyMode" in the listings node of the main skin.xml file.

I have 2 lineups in SchedulesDirect. How can I have both of them downloaded? The xmltv - configure.bat file says I have 2 lineups, but I can only specify 1 of them when prompted for (0,1) to select one.

Sorry, I don't think that I can help on this one, as I don't know anything about "SchedulesDirect" or "xmltv - configure.bat". Maybe you can try and ask your question on the general support forum.
