web scheduling doesn't seem to be turning on

I have web scheduling enabled in config but even using:
http://localhost:7647/gbpvr/guide.aspx
I can not access it.

its windows vista ultimate, windows firewall off.
I'm not even sure where to start with this. I did try deleting the /bin folder in the gbpvr/web folder so that GBPVR would reinstall the web service but that did not help.

Try going in to the Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services, then view the properties of the GBPVR Recording Service and set it to 'allow service to interact with desktop'.

I just checked and it was already set to allow the service to interact with desktop.

Post the recording service logs and I'll take a look.

Was the recording service still set to start with the default 'localsystem' account?

yes, it is set up to login as the default local system account.

What files are in c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\web\bin?

Make sure any of those specific files that are also in the c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr are the same versions as these. (ie copy GBPVRPublic.dll etc from c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr to c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\web\bin).

If that doesnt work, then I'm out of ideas.

ooh, i think i have a different NativeUtilities.dll because you gave out a fix for watching liveTV with the HD-PVR

well i thought all the files were the same but i copied them over anyways and restarted teh computer and its working now, so you fixed it somehow. thank you.

now i just need to fight my router to make it work from work. but that is not a problem you need to worry about.
