New Plugin: DboxRecorder Plugin

try putting the dll into a subfolder of the plugins directory, e.g.

yep, thats where mine is located.

regarding Enigma2, i will also move to the Dreambox 800 HD box, so if there any way you are gonna support that, fantastic.

Suggestion, if you are gonna make any changes, maybe you could consider a way to enable the user to get more control of the command sent to the dbox? what i'm thinking is if i could change the audio channel, i could specify english audio instead of the default german when watching Premiere, or i could change the "type" to 2 which is for radio instead of TV.

Im trying to set up GBPVR to access the satellite channels on my Technomate TM9100 linux sat box
It uses an Enigma image so hopefuly it will be ok

I have installed dboxrecorder plugin and set up the IP-address of the connected dbox and the location of ggrab.

The problem i have is the channel mapping part
On the "TV Channels tab" when i click "Load TV Channels" nothing happens
but if i go to the radio tab, all the radio stations load ok

Do i have to manualy map these in a xml file or should they load automaticaly when the "Load" button is clicked

Any help would be appreciated

it should read the channels when clicking the button, yes. Try enabling the "debug mode" checkbox, load the channels again, then zip and attach your config.exe.log file. You can also try calling the following url from a webbrowser to check the output - the plugin does the same when loading the channels.

it's in the "logs" subdirectory of your gbpvr installation directory.

it seems that you have so much channels on your box that it takes too long to get the response and a timeout is assumed. Try to increase the timeout value in the configuration form to the maximum possible value.

will also reduce the channels that i hape saved

got it down to 2500 channels
reading them ok now

I had a bit of a break from GB-PVR but I've got some spare time to have a fiddle again.

I have so far installed GB-PVR and got the config to accept the capture device settings (with WinGrabEngine which has been registered) and ran the Radio Times EPG grabber (which creates an xml) to populate the EPG section. The DBox IP setting is in place and the channel list imported.

My only two remaining issues are:

Channel changing - is there an .exe method of doing this? If I use the Girder method do I need a USB-UIRT?

Channel mapping - is there an automated way to get the channels mapped in the DBox Recorder plugin to the EPG, or do I have to do this manually?
