Even though I don't have access to the video hardware I though I'd share the first results of speed test using the Hauppauge media protocol instead of HTTP or SMB to talk to mvpmcx2. I was pretty impressed with the mean score being about 50 Mbs and it took about 4 1/2 minutes to transfer an hour 1.7 MB SD broadcast.
I would say it runs about 5 times faster than the MVP for this kind of test and I don't see 1080i broadcast being an issue.
