Radio button on Hauppauge remote (lircd driver)

Jaggy, that could be simply be bad mapping in the lircd driver for the Hauppauge remote. I know the Subtitle key on the NMT remote works fine for WebRadio. Open a new thread In the NMT forum, reminding me that it is the lircd driver and include the logs when you hit the Radio button, I want to see what button is being sent. The Picture key should actually load Recordings by default now too.

Logs attached after trying the Radio button three times & nothing appearing to happen, I have no idea which version of the lircd driver I am currently using.

Ok, could you find the date of the lircd drivers before I hunt this down further? Yours should be in the mvpmc share. The one linked on the wiki I think is the latest.

It was one version older than the one "I" linked on the wiki <oops> but it is now that version 3/02/2010 5:28pm & I cold booted the NMT but still no Radio hotkey working <phew>

That would have been too easy. I am glad there is your wiki, I don't have a clue how to use this! Now I have to remember where the code is and how to build it. I guess I was the only one using this hotkey with GBPVR.

I will double-check later, but I am pretty sure I have the radio key on the 45 button Hauppauge correctly bringing up TV Recordings on NPVR. After I check I will post my settings from my config.xml and my log file.

Jaggy, I found the source and it looked okay so I tested it myself and it worked fine. Maybe the EGreat scancode is different? Via telnet can you run this program to test it http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...post339409

I must be having a bad day as I keep not being able to remember words/part of phrases etc. so will need "dummy guide" instructions on what to do, I have downloaded the file & unzipped it into the mvpmc directory on the server......????

BTW this is using my A100 as the boss stole the m34a off me so she didn't have to get out of bed to do a full reboot.

On on A100 you don't need to do anything, to test. We are talking the 45 key Hauppauge remote and you are pressing the Radio button right?

Yes that's it, the Hauppauge 45 button remote being used with the A100.

Maybe the EGreat scancode is different?

It was this that confused me, now I realise (rightly hopefully) you were talking about the EGreat in general in relation to the scancodes and lircd.

Yes, I thought you were having problems with the Hauppauge remote on an egreat. On an A100 I have no idea where to even look for a problem. Did you change the defaults in mvpmcx2.ini in the mvpmc share?
