Is there problem in SkinPlugin3 install in xp professional?

I just downloaded this plugin....

I am at this screen which says "Please wait whiel SkinPlugin3 for GB-PVR 3.2.2 is being installed".

It just hangs there with the message "Execute: net start "GP-PVR Recording Service"

BTW, the service has started.

Anybody has similar issues?

Do you have the file: C:\Program Files\Devnz\GBPVR\Plugins\SkinPlugin\SkinPlugin_install.log?

That task is the last thing the installer does so it might have all been installed ok. Does the Skin Plugin appear in the config app and/or GB-PVR menu?

How do I change the color of the skin from default green to say red??? I was hoping to do this by going to GBPVR Plugin tab -> select SKIN from list and was hoping the button SETTINGS can be selected - but to my surprise the SETTINGS is greyed out.

Changing the appearance of the skin is done through the GB-PVR interface using your remote control (or keyboard). See this wiki page for more info: http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Plugin/SkinPlugin

How do I get to "Skin Plugin’s tasks menu"? Is this something that will show up in the PVRX2 main menu? I don't see it?

Make sure in the config app that you have "Skin" as an entry in the plugins list and "Community3" as the current skin. "Skin" should then appear in the PVRX2 main menu.

GBPVR -> config (general tab)
current skin: Community3

GBPVR -> config (plugins tab)
in the list "skin" is checked

But i do not see the "SKIN" as one of the items in the menu in PVRX2?

Any help would be much appreciated :-)

BTW I am using GBPVR 1.2.9

I now see the SKIN as menu!

Had to change the GBPVR -> config (general) tab from "community3" back to "blue" save...and then back to community3!

Try re-running the installer for the CommunitySkin. If still no sucess, post logs from the \logs folder.
