can't download

Last night's fix seemed to work. However, I haven't tried to delete anything. I usually do that manually anyway (as in outside of gbpvr).

Unfortunately, with the new version, it will still show up in your downloads list because instead of savng the xml in the movie folder, there is one xml file with all the downloads. Once you delete the movie file, you can probably delete it from your download list without issue. I think I may go back to the old way though.

I'm not going to have the delete problem fixed before I have to leave in the morning so it will be Monday before I get it posted.

I agree, I like the old way.

I did something stupid and had to delete the downloads.xml
now it no longer finds what I already downloaded.

I just got 2 kittens.
for those of you that keep track of all my posts, (as I know all of you do) you already know I have a wireless mouse on the coffee table, and a wireless keyboard under the couch for when I need to use it.

I was downloading one thing and watching another.
the screen flashed twice, then the computer shut off.
while trying to figure out what happened, I pulled out the keyboard, and there was a kitten laying on it.
I have no idea what she did, but when I got it back up, all the downloads are gone again.

I probably have 30 downloaded shows on the drive that the plugin no longer sees.
is there a way to import those back in??

Delete Downloads.xml.bak.
Using notepad, start with a completely blank Downloads.xml and add the following using todays date (leave the time at 0):

Open the MovieList.xml file in notepad and look for the movie you downloaded.
Copy the <movie> tag to your Downloads.xml
Before the </Movie> tag, place a <Status> tag:

FileSize is the complete size of the movie file and should equal LastByte+Endchunk (use any number you want if the download is complete).
Change File= to the complete path of your file.
If the download is complete, set isComplete to "true".

For Episodic titles, the main <Movie> tag does not get a status tag. All status tags go inside the <Movie> tags under <Episodes>

I've been pretty sick for the last week so I haven't been able to work on this much. (Coding is not a good idea when on medicine.) I did however find a problem with the serializer in the NetflixAPI.dll and that is what is causing the corrupted downloads.xml

The same function is used for updating the movie list so it was also being corrupted. I will have a fix tonight for it. You will need to implement the fix before updating your movie list.
