Just curious reven, should I also point the MyMusic and MyPictures plugins to use the MyDatabase file, or should I just stick to using the music.mdb and thumbnails.mdb files that come with them?

you can point them both to mydatabase.mdb, but you'll all the entries in the other two databases will be lost, it wont improve speed or anything, its just so you can have one database instead of 3. it doesnt really matter.

it means you are using are using an very old version of my videos (i only made it possible to upgrade from 2.1.10.0 to 3.0/3.1), you need to download a newer database from the wiki, mydatabase.mdb, then in the config app change the connection strnig from videos.mdb to mydatabase.mdb (there is more text there, just replace that part of it).

I don't if you've been told reven, but there is a small bug in 3.0. I've got an error when the plugin tried to load the description for the movie outfoxed, which I have on my HD.

The problem seems related to quotations marks contained in the description of the movie. I manually removed the quotation mark in the Description field of the ArchiveTable table.

The Description text was the following:

[b Wrote:Quote[/b] ]Documentary on reported Conservative bias of the Rupert Murdoch-owned Fox News Channel (FNC), which promotes itself as "Fair and Balanced". Material includes interviews with former FNC employees and the inter-office memos they provided.

The only way around this problem seems to manually remove the offending character from the description. No biggie, but maybe for the next update?

To tell you the truth, I have no idea. I double-clicked on the GetDVDInfo.exe application in the \devnz\gbpvr folder. I'm pretty sure I did not configure a specific source in the config application.

GetDVDInfo is actually part of the video archiver plug-in, as is the ArchiveTable database table. I just tried the version on my machine with outfoxed and it worked fine, including getting the quotes. Did you download the recent update from the wiki site?
