What do you use for DVD ripping?

I use DVD43 (runs in background) it decrypts the DVD first!! Then I use DVDShrink. On my system setup I can rip,burn in less then an hour!! I Have ripped and burned a few movies in under 40 minutes!!! When I just want to keep then on the HDD I set the Vob to a single file and also only grab the movie and 5.1 audio as the others are useless space hogs that are not needed for my setup.

DVDdecrypter and AutoGK for ripping and converting to XVID. Quality is very good (depending on your settings ofcourse). XVID encoder can use multi-threading (yo can set it as an option), so encoding time is almost halved since I went dualcore!

I use DVD shrink for DVD backups only.

All these tools are free and of very high quality!

I use Smartripper - it's one of those old programs (2001) that I have never felt the need to replace - it has worked with any DVD I tried, and has loads of options for ripping eveything or just the main feature etc. I usually rip the entire disk, removing the macrovision.
