You the man - Loving djkxml - Its been very reliable! I'm gutted I donated to xmltvnz just before I discovered your scraper! Is there anywhere we can donate to your developement - Do you need any hardware, I can get wholesale pricing on many products and may have some 2nd hand gear you could use?

Can you tell me, is there a web page some where that has the listings for tvnz sports extra? Preferably, with only tvnz sports extra on it and one day at a time. Not being fussy or anything. :-)

Bummer bout the donation. I too used to use xmltvnz when it was free then a "donation" was required. When a donation is REQUIRED, does that still make it a donation?

Thanks for the hardware offer, actually yes. You might laugh but my "development" machine is an old P3 laptop with 256Mb of RAM, which means, when I load anything more than XP and firefox, it starts swapping to disk. If there was any 133Mhz laptop memory going I would be most happy. Alternatively, I'm after some info: Can/How do I refill my ink cartridges for my Canon iP4300? And where can I get the ink from?

mobiusnz Wrote:Wow - this looks good - you can get tv1, tv2, tv3, c4 and tvnz sports extra from here at least!

eg http://listings.tvnz.co.nz/freeview/tv2_7days.xml
or http://listings.tvnz.co.nz/freeview/tv3_7days.xml

Can someone write a scraper to grab from here (Is this where djkxml already gets it from??) - Looks like a nice quick source and its got good descriptions etc. I'm pretty keen for tvnz sports extra to keep an eye on the olympics.

Hey, try http://djkxml.oztheory.com/beta/djkxml.exe
You should now have a "TVNZ sport extra" channel.
Please let me know how it goes.

Looking good - The WAF will be high - she plays badminton and has been wanting to see some from the olympics so now I can schedule tonights badminton on Sports Extra!

Todays guide for Sports Extra looks absolutely perfect. Looks like TVNZ is starting to put some really good guide info out these days - Strange they are even listing TV3 / C4 / Maori on their site now? Are they contracted to supply the full freeview 7 day epg I Wonder?

Would be nice if they/freeview would spit out a constant reliable 7 days worth of EPG for Media Centre etc users. Who gives a crap about Sky epg, anyone with Sky would more likely get MySky HD anyway rather than a Media Centre pc!

Just to say - so far still a perfect result with TVNZ Sport extra EPG with this beta version!

I registered on here just to post and say thanks for proving djkxml for people to use. Big Grin

I have just gotten my Freevo(Linux) PVR box up and running and I was beginning to despair that I wouldn't be able to find a good reliable (& free) source of a EPG for here in NZ until I found djkxml!

I just used the program last night on my windows box to download the next weeks guide, I had to use the SageTV setting for Freevo to recognise the xml file properly without all sorts of errors about the time format, but it loaded it and it all seems to be correct and working Smile

I guess I will try and get it to work in wine soon so I don't have to use my windows box to get the guides, hopefully it will work.

I think I will update the Freevo configuration wiki soon and put in a link to djkxml in the NZ section if thats cool.

I would be interested to see if you could get that going. I hope so but I don't like your chances

That's cool. The more people that use it makes it worth my while keeping it up to date. Cheers.

I just checked it and it worked OK for me. Is it still not working for you?
Mine did only register one program on the 26th but I guess that when the coverage finishes?

Cheers
