Can't do either automatic or manual EPG update .. somethng about max lock count .. attached are the config logs


Thanks for any help you can provide

It looks like you're using the old .mdb database. This hasnt been tested with any release of the application in about 18 months. I'd try running the ChangeDatabase.exe utility to switch the current .db3 database which everyone else uses. If ChangeDatabase.exe doesnt work, you might need to do a fresh installed (uninstall, delete gbpvr directory, reinstall) which will give you the current .db3 database.

I installed the new version and now it says my system doesn't support VMR9 .. I have a ATI TV Wonder Elite for recording .. Do I need to updgrade any drivers?

Whether you system supports VMR9 is up to your video card. What videocard do you have?

(also make sure you're not doing this over remote desktop, since that'll cause VMR9 to not be available)

I've got the card that came with the computer. Have been meaning to upgrade, so this might force me. I typically only use GBPVR for recording and use other sources for watching. Is there a way to open the Scheduler function for recording without getting a new video card for now?

You could try enabling the web server, then use your browser to visit http://<ipaddress>:7647/gbpvr/index.aspx

overlay mode shoud work to at least get into the app and schedule i would think...
might even have decent video playability..Big Grin
