SSIA....

Well, I can't be that short winded...

I tried stretch'n the padding to 9 minutes, all 1 hour recordings still stop at 56:46. It does the same with 2 minute padding, 5 minute padding and 9 minute padding. All end at 56:46.

30 minute recordings record 30 minutes plus whatever the padding is set to.

The time line shows 56:46 and the recording stops before the show is over. In the "pending" recordings it has the proper times listed including the scheduled padding.

Seems wierd to me!

Should I try CDK?

Do you have another recording to start at the conclusion of the current recording?

There is a bug I've fixed which affects the end time of the first recording when it butts up against another recording.

Sub,

Thanks for checking in on this one.

I do not have recordings scheduled up against these. I have experimented with back to back recordings and seen the bug talk about here but that is NOT what I have happening.

Just to make sure that the obvious does not get overlooked...

1. What file system (FAT32/NTFS,etc) are you using?  Perhaps you are running up against an OS-imposed file size limit? Or perhaps you are out of disk space (be sure to empty your recycle bin)?

2. Is your PC clock running correctly - perhaps it runs too fast so that one hour on its clock only takes 56:46 minutes in real time?

3. Are you running any software to automatically sync/correct your PC clock's time? If so, an update/correction to your PC's clock during an active record may impact actual record times.

I know these are all longshots...but you never know.

Jim

Thanks again, you've saved me twice now. I hang my head while I fess up, it was a file system issue.
