Thanks Jorm.

I'll poke around with it and see what I come up with.

It's funny that you brought this up... I sent Jorm an e-mail last night about integrating guide2j into his zap db.
I'm not really sure what the integration would look like; however, if you have any suggestion, please let me know.

Thats good to hear. I might be able to help out a little... never done much with C# but I am good with C and Linux.

I do all of my scheduling with on Monitor and then watch later. I liked using Guide+ that comes with the ATI AWI. It is easy to scroll through a lot of listings. It also lets you search by Genre so you can look at all of the movies that are going to be playing this week. This is the feature I miss though most. It takes a long time to go through all of the movies on TV with the current guide.

guide2j was my first crack at c#... My experience is with vb / c++.

Anywhere you want to help let me know.

I'm weakest in UI. If you spec out how you want the interface to appear, that will be helpful.

I was thinking of a menu where you can set filters. The filters would be by guides created (a guide2j feature), genre (action, comedy), and categories (sports, movies). Therefore you can show movies that are comedies, that are in your "favorites" guide... or something like that. Maybe those three buttons on the left and content on the right - like XRecord.

Oh that is good to here. I can get a cheap copy of C# through my university but it takes a while to ship. Yea, I would be most interested in the UI, I don't do any complex season passes. Filtering by genre is exactly along the lines of what I was thinking of. With TitanTV you can filter out everything but movies. Makes it a lot quicker to scroll through.

I was thinking of something that would have a smaller sized font, but I am not sure if that is possible through a plug-in. It looks like the screen resolution is fixed pretty low in the application. It might be interesting to make a better Web Scheduler if possible. It would be nice to have an entire day on the screen at once in a frame and be able to scroll horizontially.

You dont have to buy it. Borland has one for free and sharpdevelop is pretty good as well.
