Hello,

I got a ATI HDTV wonder PCI card.
When I try to scan for channels the card can't find any. I'm just try to scan for the channels that are available over the air.

I'm just wondering if anyone had a problem like that ?
and if there a fix for it

Thank you

There ATI HDTV Wonder was known to not like the way did things in the past. I havnt hear about anyone trying one in a very long time, so I'm not sure if that is still the case.

If you reproduce the problem and post the config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log then I'll see if anything obvious is happening in the logs.

I got this card cheap that why I got it. I was hopping that it will work.

ok that is what I tried.
When I tried to scan for channels it told me to update egp.
I'm going to use MSN_XMLTV_scraper_V.63. So I got a channel list and then I tried to scan. But no channels found.
So I then I tried Beyond.TV and that application found all the channels so I know my card is working.

When i select none on epg I can't scan. I don't know how to map channels.

I know I'm doing something wrong that is why I can't find channels.

I zip the logs I hope they can help

Thanks

Those logs dont show an attempted scan. Try again and repost the logs.

Unfortunately those logs seem to exhibit the same problems we've see with ATI HDTV Wonder devices in the past. It manages to lock a signal but never delivers and data. Its because its drivers are trying to be too smart and apply a PID filter but this stops GB-PVR getting the data it needs. Sorry, there isnt much I can do about this.
