ok i wnt back and found a new post and i have the options to set what the input source is now i just have to get it setup again as when i hit live tv nothing happens
Yea, you might have to re-set up everything if the old version was very very old. If you have any other issues, just zip of all the new log files (sort by by date) and dump the zip here and I'll have a look. Off home now.
vbi is vertical blanking interval - it's where teletext is transmitted. It should not be being selected. Lemme have a look and get back to you on this one.
make sure the recording service is running, and make sure that you have the moonlight encoders installed. If this doesn't help then dump the gbpvrrecordingservice.exe.log as an attachment here and I'll have a look at it.
Hi Norman.
I'm a new user to GB-PVR. As I'm still waiting to get my WinTV PVR card, I'm Using a normal WinTV card and using the WDM recorder.
In the "Software Recorder Config" window the 'Recording Source" only "Tuner" (or "Arial"? I can't remember, am at work now! is available. I use the composite input on my WinTV card to connect to my NTL cable box will there be support for composite input in the future?
Thanks
Hi m0rt. Yes Composite and S-Video support is planned in either build 11 or 12 (we're at 10 at the moment). It's competing with compression device selection at the moment. If I get some free time they may both end up in build 11.
That's great news. I'm getting married in May and the missus has said "no buying non-wedding items till after the wedding!" Lol hence I'm having to use my 6 year old WinTV card!
Thanks
