UltraXML Error 7, 55 & 52...program hangs

Well I had another fire to put out. TheTVDB.com changed their data grabbing technique.

While I was tweaking that, I may have done some more to help you. Check out the wiki for version 100

It looks like we may have a winner in version 100 . I see a couple of errors in the log indicating "Subscript out of range from EpGuides.com", but it did not choke on any of them and managed to finish just fine (log attached in case you are curious for any reason...I just assume this means it had trouble matching the name). I'll keep an eye on it, but whatever you did to solve your TVDB.com issues very likely has solved my mystery problem at the same time.

Well it's good it got through your file. The final stats show it skipped one record, but that might just be me counting.

I would like to see you xml file. I would really like to find out why you have a subscript error when I don't...

Well if you are interested in the errors, have I got a treat for you...lots of errors in today's run. I've attached the newest log and the XMLTV.xml.BeforeProcess.xml file for you to tinker with. Let me know if I can provide any other info to help. I'm just happy to be able to get most of the shows and not have the errors stop the listing update process.

I've added a line count in the error checking log. and then I looked at your file again and FINALLY fixed a nagging problem which kept spitting out the errors.

You XML file now gives 0 errors and is much faster. I think there are less rechecks after errors now.

The newest version has been tweaked to handle http errors and give up temporarily if the server appears to be acting up. Therefore, one still has at least the New Show Markers and other enhancements, and just miss the Season and Episode information

I've run 1.2.106 three times now...no errors or hiccups at all! I'll install the latest so I have the added "security" it provides, but I think we have this thing licked!
